Profile in Excellence Awards
Junior Achievement of Rhode Island, Inc. instituted the Morris J.W. Gaebe Profile in Excellence Award to honor leaders or organizations demonstrating excellence in the Rhode Island Community. Today the award is Junior Achievement’s highest honor and carries the name of Morris J.W. Gaebe, Chancellor Emeritus of Johnson & Wales University. The recipients of the award must have demonstrated courageous thinking and actions, vision and innovation, inspiring leadership, and community mindedness.
Dr. Gaebe exemplifies all of these qualities not only in his support of Junior Achievement but through his leadership within the university and with the many organizations that he was a part of for over 65 years.
