As high school students begin to position themselves for their future, there are many unanswered questions about what lies ahead. Junior Achievement’s high school programs help students make informed, intelligent decisions about their future, and fosters skills that will be highly useful in the business world.

JA Be Entrepreneurial

JA Be Entrepreneurial introduces students to the essential elements of a practical business plan and then challenges them to start an entrepreneurial venture while still in high school.

JA Be Entrepreneurial (Creative Problem Solving)

In JA Creative Problem Solving, students learn and apply design thinking, an innovative process for problem solving used by entrepreneurs (and intrapreneurs) to brainstorm customer-centric ideas.

JA Be Entrepreneurial (Rapid Business Planning)

In JA Rapid Business Planning, students learn about the Lean Model Canvas, the strategic management template for developing business models


JA Be Entrepreneurial (Think Like An Entrepreneur)

In JA Think Like an Entrepreneur, students develop a mindset that enables opportunity identification, innovation, value creation, and problem solving.

JA Business Communication

JA Business Communications is a one-semester teacher-led course that equips high school students to focus on communication skills necessary to succeed in business.

JA Career
Speaker Series

In JA Career Speakers Series, a volunteer guest speaker visits the classroom and shares information about his or her career, work, and education experience.


JA Career Success

JA Career Success equips students with the knowledge required to get and keep a job in high-growth industries. Students will explore the crucial workplace skills employers seek but often find lacking in young employees. Students also will learn about valuable tools to find that perfect job, including resumes, cover letters, and interviewing techniques.

JA Company Program

JA Company Program empowers high school students to fill a need or solve a problem in their community and teaches them practical skills required to conceptualize, capitalize, and manage their own business venture.

JA Company Program Pop Up

JA Company Program Pop Up teaches students how to plan, launch, and operate their own business venture within a structured, guided experience. Throughout the start-up process, students collaborate, make crucial business decisions, practice communication skills, and develop entrepreneurial knowledge and skills. (Grades 6-12)


JA Economics

JA Economics is a one-semester course that connects high school students to the economic principles that influence their daily lives as well as their futures.

JA Entrepreneurial Mindset

A Entrepreneurial Mindset, part of the JA High School Experience courses, is a one-semester teacher-led course that introduces high school students to the basics of starting a business, including developing entrepreneurial abilities, identifying a business opportunity, creating a business plan, economics, and the stages of business growth.

JA Excellence Through Ethics

Through JA Excellence through Ethics, students will learn the importance of ethics and ethical decision-making and how ethical and unethical choices affect everyone in a community.


JA Finance
Park - Advanced

JA Finance Park is Junior Achievement’s capstone curriculum for personal financial planning and career exploration. An advanced curriculum and simulation give high school students a more personal focus. Students select their career and define their future lifestyle and financial goals. (Grades 9-12)

JA Financial Capability 1

JA Financial Capability 1 is a one-semester teacher-led course in which high school students examine financial capabilities from a business perspective, focusing on banking, economics, business planning, and risk management.

JA Financial Capability 2

JA Financial Capability 2 is a semester-long, teacher-led course, in which high school students examine financial capabilities from a business perspective, focusing on employee benefits, ethics, business investment, and international business operations.


JA Financial Literacy

JA Financial Literacy is a one-semester teacher-led course that equips high school students with foundational personal finance skills.


JA High School Heroes

JA High School Heroes provides leadership development opportunities to high school students who deliver JA programs in elementary schools.

JA Job Shadow Blended Model is a comprehensive experience that helps students design an individualized career path. Supporting blended as well as self-guided activities, JA Job Shadow provides a design-thinking structure for career exploration.

JA Personal Finance -Blended Model demonstrates the relationship between financial decisions made now and future financial freedom and quality of life. Students learn that a positive financial future requires making smart choices about education, a career, and saving and investing.
