Education Awareness Week
March 1-5, 2027

Junior Achievement of Rhode Island (JA) and Teach For America (TFA) are pleased to once again come together for Education Awareness Week (EAW), taking place March 1-5, 2025. During Education Awareness Week, Rhode Island’s government, business, education, and community leaders are invited into the classroom to serve as guest teachers to highlight the needs of Rhode Island students and ensure that everyone receives an excellent education.

The activities for this year’s Education Awareness Week will include JA’s 12th annual JA Leaders Day at Mary E. Fogarty Elementary School in Providence, a proclamation ceremony and JA Job Shadow Day at the State House with state leaders and students from TFA classrooms, Careers in Finance and Technology Day at Citizens headquarters in Johnston, TFA Day, Congressional Leaders Day with members of Rhode Island’s congressional delegation at Fidelity Investments.

It is our firm belief that all Rhode Island students have the right to an excellent education and that students from all backgrounds have the potential to succeed at the highest levels, if given the opportunity. With your help, we can make a difference in the lives of Rhode Island’s students.
